In 2013, Ava Gene’s burst onto the scene as one of Bon Appetit’s five “Best New Restaurants in America.” It hasn’t looked back. Combining a Roman-inspired menu with the best produce and meat raised by Pacific Northwest farmers and ranchers, Ava Gene’s continues to garner rave reviews from national publications and neighborhood regulars alike.
Tusk was named a “Restaurant of the Year 2017” by Food & Wine, one of the “Best New Restaurants in America 2017” by Bon Appetit, and the “Rising Star Restaurant of 2016” by the Portland Monthly. Drawing on the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer right now, the Middle Eastern-inspired menu is so seasonal that it changes daily.
